Raymond Goodlett

Raymond grew up in Silver Spring, MD with his parents and his three brothers. Eventually, he went on to play soccer and study Chemistry at Howard University in Washington, DC. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry there in 1998, and began a brief career in professional soccer at that time. Raymond played for DC United from 2000-2001 and then moved to Richmond, VA to play for the Richmond Kickers through 2006. More importantly, Raymond was converted from “good person-ism” to faith in Christ in 1997, during the fall semester of his senior year at Howard. Ever since then, he has devoted himself to helping others discover the true grace of God in Jesus Christ. Raymond has been involved in ministry to college students since he retired from soccer in 2006 and has been privileged to help hundreds of college graduates grow in their convictions and their ability to effectively proclaim the gospel to others. He now serves as an elder at Redemption Hill Church in addition to serving as the Director of College Ministry there. Raymond and his wife Heather got married on April 29, 2006, and they have three daughter: Keira, Briana, and Julia.
